About the event
The AAOIFI 23rd Annual Shari’ah Boards Conference will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday and Monday, 20–21 April 2025, under the esteemed patronage and support of the Central Bank of Bahrain. Recognized as one of the most significant gatherings in the Islamic finance industry, the conference brings together leading Shari’ah scholars, regulators, practitioners, and industry experts from around the globe to deliberate on the latest developments, challenges, and innovations in the field of Islamic finance and Shari’ah governance.
Organized by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), the event serves as a premier platform for discussion on the role, responsibilities, and evolving landscape of Shari’ah boards across jurisdictions. Participants will gain deep insights into the harmonization of Shari’ah standards, contemporary Fiqh issues, and the integration of technology and ethical finance in Shari’ah-compliant institutions.
